8=(x1+x2----x16)/16

8*16=(x1+x2---x16)

128=(x1+x2---x16)

If 2 is added to all, it means (2*16=32) will be added in the whole equation

Then,

Mean =(128+32)/16

Mean =160/16

Mean =10

Then the new mean is 10
