Mean of 1st set = 2+3+5+1+7+6 /6 = x

x = 4

mean of 2nd set = 3+5+4+2+3+7+y /7 = x

or 24+y /7 = 4

or, 24 + y = 4 *7

or 24 + y = 28

y = 28 - 24 = 4

median =  {(n + 1) / 2}th = z

= {(7 + 1) / 2} th = { 8/2} th = 4 th no. of the 2nd set =  2
