= Mean of 20 observations => 12

= Sum of all observations / no of observations => 12

= Sum of all observations => 12 × 20

= Sum of all observations => 240

= When its increase 5 times

= 240 × 5 => 1200

= New mean will be

= New sum of all observations / No of observations => Mean

= 1200 / 200 => 60

I hope this will help you dear..
