We know that the mean is also increased by the same number if each term is increased by a number.

Therefore the new mean is 5+2=7

Step-by-step explanation:

let numbers be a,b,c,d

a+b+c+d/4=5

a+b+c+d=20

if all number are increased by 2 than mean =

[a+b+c+d+2+2+2+2] /4

a+b+c+d+8/4

[20+8]/4
