The mean of 5 entries is 13. Later it was found that 50 is misread as 15. Find the correct mean

Mean =sum of observation ÷no. Of observation

According to first statement

Sum = 65

As instead of 50,15 was misread,so we have to subtract 15 from 65

65-15 = 50

Then,we add correct observation i.e 50 in 50

50 + 50 = 100

Now , correct mean=100 ÷ 5 = 20

So, correct mean is 20
