18 = x/5
transposing 5 to the other side
18x5 = x
90 = x (old mean)
now since one number is excluded
x/4 = 16
x = 16x4
so x = 64 (new mean)
to find out the number that was excluded we just need to subtract the old and the new mean
90 - 64 = 26
