                                   = 5x + 20

Total observations = 5.

Given, Mean of 5 observations = 11.

We know that Mean = Sum of observations/Total observations

⇒ 11 = (5x + 20)/5

⇒ 55 = 5x + 20

⇒ 35 = 5x

⇒ x = 7.

Therefore, the value of x = 7.
