The mean of 50 observations was 150.It was detected on checking that the value of 185 was misread as 135 for the computation of the mean.Find the correct mean.

sum of observation=mean×no. of obs.
sum of obs=150×50=7500
new mean=7500-135+185/50
=7550/50
=151
correct mean is 151
