the mean of 6 number is 29 if one of the number is excluded the mean of the remaining numbers becomes 31 find the excluded number

If one no is exclude there will be 5 no.

Mean of 5 no. is 31

therefore their sum total will be 155(31*5)

now the excluded no. would be 174-155 i.e 19
