The mean of 6 observations is 17.5.If five of them are 14,9,23,25 and 10.Find the sixth observation.

let the sixth observation. =x

so, 10+14+9+23+25+x/6 = 17.5

81+x /6 = 17.5
81+x = 105
x = 105-81
x = 24 ans.
