the mean of 9, 7, 10, x, and 13 is 10 . Find the value of x.

we know that , mean = sum of observation / no. of observation

==> 10 = 9+7+10+x+13 / 5

==> 10 = 39+x / 5

==>  10*5 = 39+x

==> 50-39 = x

==> 11 = x

answer = 11
