Now,

(a + b)/2 = 8.5

=> (a + b) = 8.5 × 2

=> (a + b ) = 17 .......(i)

Again,

(a + b + c)/3 = 7

=> a + b + c = 7 × 3

=> (a + b) + c = 21

=> 17 + c = 21. [From (i)]

=> c = 21 - 17

=> c = 4
