Mean of set of 6 numbers = 2

Sum of a set of 6 numbers/Number of numbers = 2

Sum of a set of 6 numbers/6 = 2

Sum of a set of 6 numbers = 2 * 6

Sum of a set of 6 numbers = 12

Mean of other 10 numbers = x

Sum of other 10 numbers/Number of numbers = x

Sum of other 10 numbers/10 = x

Sum of 10 numbers = x * 10

Sum of 10 numbers = 10x

Mean of all 16 numbers = 7

Sum of all numbers/Number of numbers = 7

Sum of all numbers/16 = 7

Sum of all 16 numbers = 7 * 16

Sum of all 16 numbers = 112

Sum of set of 6 numbers + Sum of other 10 numbers = 112

12 + 10x = 112

10x = 112 - 12

10x = 100

x = 100/10

x = 10

Therefore the value of x is 10.
