We know ,
mean = Sum of observations/No. of observations
Here,
Mean of first 5 observations = 20
So with the help of above formula we can say, sum of first 5 observations = 20*5 = 100
Similarly, the sum of last 5 observations = 45*5 = 225
So, the total sum of 10 observations = 100+225 = 325
Hence mean = 325/10 = 32.5(Answer)

Answer:

mean = Sum of observations/No. of observations

Here,

Mean of first 5 observations = 20

So with the help of above formula we can say, sum of first 5 observations = 20*5 = 100

Similarly, the sum of last 5 observations = 45*5 = 225

So, the total sum of 10 observations = 100+225 = 325

Hence mean = 325/10 = 32.5
