  • Hence,  \frac{n_{1} +n_{2} +n_{3}}{3}=15\\ and   \frac{n_{4}+n_{5}  }{2}= 20
  • x=\frac{n_{1}+n_{2}+n_{3}+n_{4}+n_{5} }{5}
  • x=\frac{45+40}{5}
  • x=17
  • So the mean of all five observation is 17
