Step-by-step explanation:

Mean =  \frac{Sum \: of \: Numbers}{Number\: of \: Numbers}

4 =  \frac{Sum \: of \: Numbers}{5}

 Sum \: of \: Numbers = 20

On adding one more number,

 New \: Mean =  \frac{Sum \: of \: Numbers  + x}{6}

7 =  \frac{Sum \: of \: Numbers + x}{6}

42 = Sum \: of \: Numbers + x

42 = 20 + x

x = 42 - 26

x = 16

Hence, the New Number is 16
