The mean of five observations is 15. If mean of first three observations is 14 and that of the last 3 is 17. Find the third observation.

total sum of 15 observation=15×5=75
total sum of 1st 3 observation=14×3=42
total sum of last 3 observation=17×3=51
3rd observation =(42+51)-75=93-75=18
