Mean of set of 10 numbers is given by

= x1+x2+...+x10/10=67

Then, x1 + x2 +...x10 = 670

Here, given that 2 out of 10 numbers are 99 & 67 which are removed.

Then,new mean is given by subtracting 99 & 67 from both sides.

x1 + x2 +...x10 - 99 - 67 = 670 - 99 -67.

Hence, new mean = 670-166

= 504
