mean of 10 observations = 15.3
multiply by 10 = 15.3*10 = 153
now ATQ
153 - 6-9+8+14
153-15+22
153+7
160
divide by 10
160/10 = 16
new mean = 16
we will multiply or divide by 10 as the number of observations are 10.
