The mean pocket money of 29 students of class is rupees 132 if one more student join the class those pocket money is a 171 find the new mean.

so, in case of 29 students with mean pocket money of 132 it will be

if one more student joins the total number of students is now 30

pocket money of new student is 171

so, sum of pocket money of 30 students = 3828 + 171 = 3999

Mean pocket money = 3999 ÷ 30 = 133.3
