Answer:

  • The value of observation is 3, 6,9,12,15.
  • And range of observation are 12.

Step-by-step explanation:

Mean of x, x+3, x+6, x+ 9,x+12 is9

Sum of the terms =x+ x+3 + x+6 + x+ 9 + x+12

= 5x+ 30

Total numbers of observation =5

Mean = {Sum of Observation} ÷ {Total numbers of Observations}.

Mean =  5x+30÷ 5  =9

5x+ 30=9(5)

5x + 30= 45

5x = 45 - 30

5x=15

x = 3

So, numbers are 3, 6,9,12,15.

Smallest observation = 3

And greatest observation = 15

So, range of observation = 15 - 3 = 12
