Mean = Sum of all observations / Total no. of observation

Let the sum be 'x'

48 = x/20

x = 48 x 20 = 960

Sum of weight of 20 students = 960

22 students = 960 + 58 + 60

22 students = 1078

Mean = 1078/22 = 49

Mean weight of the class is 49 kg
