61 kg is the weight of 7th person

kmohandattap62j74: Mean = sum of all observations ÷ no.of observations
kmohandattap62j74: 55=52+54+55+53+56+54+x ÷ 7
kmohandattap62j74: 385= x + 324
kmohandattap62j74: x= 385-324
kmohandattap62j74: x=61
kmohandattap62j74: therefore weight of the 7th student = 61 kgs

Answer:

61 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

The individual weights of 6 of them (in kg) are 52,54,55,53,56 and 54.

Sum of weights of 6 people = 52+54+55+53+56+54

                                                =324

let the weight of seventh person be x

The mean weight per student in a group of 7 students is 55 kg.

55 =\frac{\text{Sum of weights of 7 persons}}{7}

55 =\frac{\text{324+x}}{7}

55 \times 7 =324+x

385 =324+x

385-324=x

61=x

Hence the weight of seventh student is 61 kg
