Constitution cannot be extremely rigid as society changes from time to time which results in change in demand of law to govern people. So a rigid constitution could not cope up with society and hence cannot fulfill it’s main objective thus it needs to be flexible.
And it cannot be extremely flexible also, because a flexible constitution means change in law every now and then which leads to conflict in execution of law and people would not be able to follow law because execution and understanding of law is a time consuming process. If you change law every day, there would be conflict between people, no one would be able to follow law because what was legal yesterday would become illegal today and maybe become legal again tomorrow.
