The means of 100 items was found to be 300. If at the time of calculation two

items were wrongly taken as 32 and 12 instead of 23 and 11, find the correct

Since the mean of 100 items is 300 therefore the arithmetic favorable sum is 30000.
But there was a mistake resulting in increase of 10.
therefore the new sum is 29990
the mean become 299.90
