let's take one angle as  x + 18

another as x

we know that ,
            x +x+18° = 90°
            2 x + 18° = 90°
            2 x = 90 ° - 18°
            2 x = 72°
            x =  \frac{72}{2}
   answer is
            x = 36°
            x + 18° = 54°

Given,

The measure of an angle is 18 degree less than its complement.

To find,

The value of the main angle.

Solution,

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Now, we know that the sum of two complementary angles is always 90°.

Let, the value of the main angle = x°

(Assume x as a variable to do the further mathematical calculations.)

Value of another angle = (x+18)°

According to the data mentioned in the question,

x+x+18 = 90

2x = 90-18

2x = 72

x = 36

Hence, the value of the main angle is 36°
