Two angles are complementary if their sum is 90 deg.
let the two angles be x and y
x+y=90...(1)
x=3y-2...(2). Put the value of x from (2) and (1) to get
3y-2+y=90,or
4y=92 and so y=23 deg and x =90-23=67 deg
23*3-2=69-2=67.
