The measure of an angle is 20° more than its complement . Find the measure of the angle.

Let, the complement angle be,'x'

So, the other angle = (x+20)

By condition,

x+(x+20) = 90 [complementary angles]

or, 2x = 90-20

or, x = 70/2

or, x = 35

∴ The measure of the angle is = (35+20)°

                                                  = 55°
