the measure of an angle is 20degree more than it's complement find the measure of the angle

let one angle be x
other angle = x +20°


since complementary angles add up to 90°

x + x + 20 = 90
2x + 20 = 90
2x = 90 -20
2x = 70
x = 70/2
x = 35

1st angle = 35°
2nd angle = 35° + 20° = 55°
