The measure of an angle is 4/5 th of that of its complement. Find the degree measure of the angle and that of its supplement.

Answer:

upplementary angles add to 180 degrees, so the supplement of angle x is 180 - x. Complementary angles add up to 90 degrees, so the complement of x is 90-x. Supplement is 120, complement is 30, 120 is four times 30.
