The measure of an angle is forty-four times the measure of a complementary angle. What is the measure of each angle?

let one angle x
and other44x
so 44x+x=90
45x=90
x=2
so angle is 88 and 2 deg

here's your answer....
Let one angle be equal to X
Then an other angle will be equal to 44x
Now, complementary angles have their sum equals to 90.
So,
x + 44x = 90 \\ 45x = 90 \\ x = 90 \div 45 \\ x = 2
So now, x=2
44x= 88
So the angles are 2° and 88° respectively.
