First use the angle sum property.

We know that sum of each angle in a triangle is 180°.

So , X + (X-20) + (X-40) = 180°

So , 3X - 60 ° = 180°

So , 3X = 240°

Now , X = 240/3

Hence X = 80°

So the angles are ,

80° , 60° , 40°.

x + x-20+x-40=180

3x-60=180

3x=240

x=80

x=80

x-20=80-20=60

x-40=80-40=40
