SUM OF ANGLES IN A TRAINGLE =180°

x+x-20+x-40=180

3x-60=180

3x=240

x=80°

x-20=60

x-40=40

angles are 80,60,40 degree

Answer:

140°,120° and 100°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given 3 angles of a triangle as , x°,(x-20°) and (x-40)°

=> x + (x-20°) + (x-40)°  = 360°

=> 3x - 60° = 360°

=> 3x = 360° + 60°

=> 3x = 420°

=> x = 420°/3 = 140°

=> the 3 angles are 140° , (140°-20°) , (140°-40°)

ie., 140°,120° and 100°
