Answer:

Let the ratio of two sides be 2x and 3x

Length of first angle = 120°

According to the question

2x+3x+120°=180° [Angle sum property of triangle]

5x=180°-120°

5x=60°

x=60/5

x=12°

therefore, length of second angle=2x

=2(12°)

=24°

Length of 3rd angle=3x

=3(12°)

=36°

Solution

Sum of measure of angles of triangle is 180°.

As if the angles are a, b, c then we can write it as

a + b + c = 180°

In the given statement one angle of∆ is 120° and the two other are in the ratio of 2: 3 , we can write the given ratio as 2x and 3x

Now as we have discussed above the sum of these 3 angles will be 180°

Calculation

a + b + c = 180°

so,

120 + 2x + 3x = 180°

5x = 180°-120°

5x = 60°

x. = 60/5

x = 12°

Now after finding the value of X let's put it with the given ratios.So the other two angles will be

2(12) = 24°

3(12) = 36°

So the 3 angles of triangle are 120° ,36°, 24°

Verification

As we above talked about the sum of angles of triangle, applying that

120 + 36 + 24 = 180

Hence verified.
