The measure of one of the angles forming linear pair is less by 50 than the measure of other angle .find the measure

Hi ,

Let x ,( 180 - x ) are linear pair .

according to the problem given ,

x - ( 180 - x ) = 50

=> x - 180 + x = 50

=> 2x = 50 + 180

=> 2x = 230

x = 230/2

x = 115°

Therefore ,

Required linear pair ,

x = 115°

180 - x = 180 - 115 = 65°
