Given : The measure of the angles of a triangle are given by

x+ 35, 2x + 10 , 3x − 15

To Find : given triangle is

a) Scalene triangle b)Isosceles triangle c)Equilateral triangle d)None of these

Solution:

Sum of measures of angles of  a triangle = 180°

x+ 35 + 2x + 10 +  3x − 15  =  180

=> 6x = 150

=> x = 25

x+ 35 = 25 + 35 = 60

2x + 10 = 2(25) + 10 = 60

3x - 15 = 3(25) - 15 = 60

All angles have measures = 60°

Hence triangle is Equilateral triangle
