Step-by-step explanation:

diagonal of rectangle = 5cm

one side of rectangle= 3cm

let the other side of rectangle= x cm

perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

= 2(x+3)

= 2x+6

we can find the other side of rectangle by using Pythagoras theorem

 {h}^{2}  =  {b}^{2}  +  {p}^{2}

  {25}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  +  {3}^{2}

25 =  {x}^{2}  + 9

x =  \sqrt{25 - 9}

x = 4 \: cm

perimeter= 2(4) +6

= 8+6

= 14 cm

answer : perimeter of rectangle is 14cm
