Answer:

40 is the smallest angle then 50 then greatest is 90

Step-by-step explanation:

let angle b 4x and 5x and third angle is A then as per given data we can say 4x + 5x + A=180 so we get 2A=180 or A is 90 then 4x + 5x =90 it gives x = 10 that means angles are 40,50,90

Given :-

  • Ratio of measure of 2 angles
  • Sum of measure of 2 angles = 3rd angle

To Find

The smallest angle.

Solution :-

Given ratios are :- 4:5

Let say,

  • ∠A = 4x
  • ∠B = 5x
  • ∠C = 4x + 5x = 9x

Now,

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180° ( By angle sum property )

4x + 5x + 9x = 180

18x = 180

x = 180 / 18

x = 10

------------------

Finding the angles :-

∠A = 4x = 4 ( 10 ) = 40°

∠B = 5x = 5 ( 10 ) = 50°

∠C = 9x = 9 ( 10 ) = 90°

------------------

The smallest angle is ∠A = 40°
