Answer:

Length = 7 m 50 cm = 750 cm

Breadth = 6 m = 600 cm

Height = 3 m 75 cm = 375 cm

To find the length of the longest rod that will measure all the dimensions of the room we will find the HCF of all the dimensions of the room.

HCF (750, 600, 350) = 50 cm

Hence, the length of the longest rod that can be used to measure the dimensions of the room is 50 cm or 0.5 m.

Given :- Dimensions of Room =7.5mX6mX3.75m

The longest rod that can measure = Diagonal of Room

 =  \sqrt{l^{2} +  b^{2} +  h^{2} }

 =  \sqrt{7.5 {}^{2} + 6 {}^{2} + 3.75  }

 =  \sqrt{56.25 + 36 + 14.06}

 =  \sqrt{106.31}

 = 10.31m
