Life doesn't goes in one way there is always a requirement of change in our day to day lives and that what Mr Einstein wants to convey that the one who can make changes in the right time for their betterment are the one who are intelligent.

A person needs to go through various situations which are unavoidable like death in those cases a person cannot change anything. He says that changes should be made when there is time and can be rectified. For example if a person wants to become a singer so he has to learn singing in order to reach his goal.A person thinks that he or she can do anything without any prior training or change then it is not possible. One who will make the change is the one who is intelligent.

Answer:

Intelligence has been defined in many ways, including: the capacity for logic, understanding, self-awareness, learning, emotional knowledge, reasoning, planning, creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving. More generally, it can be described as the ability to perceive or infer information, and to retain it as knowledge to be applied towards adaptive behaviors within an environment or context.
