Answer :

›»› The measure of the two angles is 63° and 27° respectively.

Given :

  • The measures of the two acute angles in a right triangle are in the ratio 7:3.

To Find :

  • The measure of the two angles.

Solution :

Let us assume that the measure of the two angles is "7x" and "3x" respectively.

As we know that

The sum of all three angles of right angle traingle is 180°.

→ 7x + 3x + 90 = 180

→ 10x + 90 = 180

→ 10x = 180 - 90

→ 10x = 90

→ x = 90/10

→ x = 9/1

x = 9

Therefore,

The measure of the two angles is,

  • 7x = 7 * 9 = 63°.
  • 3x = 3 * 9 = 27°.

Hence, the measure of the two angles is 63° and 27° respectively.

Verification :

The sum of all three angles of right angle traingle is 180°.

→ 63 + 27 + 90 = 180

→ 90 + 90 = 180

180 = 180

Here, LHS = RHS

Hence Verified !!
