The mechanical advantage of a machine is 8. How much load it can exert for the effort of 3kgf ?

mechanical advantage (m)  =  \frac{load}{effort}

8 =  \frac{load}{3} kgf
load = 8 × 3 kgf = 24kgf (ans)
