because the flow of filterate ( concentrated urine ) flows through the two limbs of henal loop i.e ascending and descending loop . is in opposite direction and form an concurrent mechanism
1. in these mechanimechanisms the henal loop and vasa recta plays an important role .
2. these mechanism helps in incresing osmolarity towards the inner medullary intersitium I.e from 300mosmo/l in the inner cortex to about 1200mosmo/l in the inner medulla.
