Here we can use direct formula

3×Median−2×Mean=Mode

3×26−2×Mean=29

78−29=2×Mean

Mean= 49/2

Mean=24.5

We know that 2 mean = 3 median - mode .

Given, median is 26 and mode is 29.

According to the statement,

2 mean = 3 (26) - 29

or, 2 mean = 78 - 29

or, mean = 49/2

or, mean = 24.5
