16 , x , 19 , x + 17 , 25 , 29 , 34 is given

data ,

Number of terms = n = 7

Median = ( n + 1 ) / 2 th term

= ( 7 +1 ) /2 term

= 8/2 th term

= 4th term

Median = x + 17

According to the problem given ,

x + 17 = 28

x = 28 - 17

x = 11
