 Given \:data \: 34,46, 56, 27, 28, 35 \:and\: 45

/* Arranging the data in ascending order,we get*/

 27,28,34,35,45,46\:and \: 46

 Number \:of \: terms (n) = 7 \: (Odd)

 Median = \Big(\frac{n+1}{2} \Big)^{th} \:term \\= \Big(\frac{7+1}{2} \Big)^{th} \:term \\=\Big(\frac{8}{2} \Big)^{th} \:term \\= 4^{th} \:term

 = 35

Therefore.,

 \red{ Median } \green { = 35}

Step by step explanation:-

Median:-

Median is nothing but middle most number .which we should be arange in ascending or descending order

If the no.of observations are odd median will be

Median = \frac{n+1}{2}

If the no.of observations are even median will be

Median = \frac{n}{2} + \frac{n}{2}+1 /2

_____________________________

Given data 34,46,56,27,28,35,45

Arrange in ascending order

27,28,34,35,45,46,56

No.of observations = 7

Hence no.of observations are odd

Median = \frac{n+1}{2}

Median = \frac{7+1}{2}

Median = \frac{8}{2}

Median = 4th term

Hence 35 is the median of given data
