Ans:- (Sum of even number) / (total number)

= (2+4+6+8)/(4)

= 20/4 = 5

01. Write the first four even number in ascending order

   2,4,6,8

02. Add 1 to no.of terms and divide by 2

       4 + 1 = 5

      5/2 = 2.5

03.If the above obtained value is a whole number, you can directly say that value in the above series, is the median. (Ex:if 4 came for the above value then 4th value in the above series, 8 would be the median)

04.Since this is in decimal then you have to take note between which two whole numbers 2.5 come?

        2 and 3 right?

05. So you have to add 2nd and 3rd value in the above series and divide the sum by 2. This would be the median  

2nd value is 4

3rd value is 6

So,

4 + 6 = 10

10/2 = 5

So, 5 is the median.
