Answer:

x=9 and  y=15

add up the frequency total- 76+x+y=100

x+y=24                                    ----eqn-1

then by median formula ,you can get the value of x , replacing the value of x in eqn-1. you will get the value of y

=>  76 + x + y = 100

=> x + y = 24

Median = 52.5

Median =  50   + 10 (  50  - (36 + x)/20

=> 52.5 = 50 + (14 - x)/2

=> 5 = 14 - x

=> x = 9

9 + y = 24

=> y = 15

x = 9 & y = 15
