solid B is the answer because the melting point of solid is an indication of strength of force of attraction between particles and solid B has more inter partice force

Explanation:

A solid which has stronger force of attraction between the particles will have more tightly packed particles. Whereas a solid which have less strong force of attraction between the particles will have less tightly packed particles.

When temperature is raised then the strong force of attraction between the molecules break down. The more stronger the force of attraction, the higher temperature must be provided to break the bonds within a solid. Hence, the higher will be the melting point of solid.

Therefore, we can conclude that solid b with melting point of 350 K will have maximum magnitude of inter particle forces.
