Lok Sabha is a directly elected house consist of a total of 552 members, out of the 552 members 530 are representatives of the States, 20 representatives of the Union Territories and 2 members of the Anglo-Indian community, nominated by the president, if he is of the opinion that the Anglo-Indian community is not adequately represented.
